My old digital camera refuses to accept SD cards with capacity more than 2GB. This is because all cards above 2GB seem to follow the SDHC (SD High Capacity) format, which my camera refuses to read. So, the storage size is a limiting factor when out on vacation as getting 2GB cards is next to impossible and if available, are very costly.
After a few days of searching, a simple solution came to mind. Why not combine an OTG (on the go) cable and a card reader to overcome the size limit?
Using this combination, it is possible to take as many photos using the digital camera. If short of space, move the images to your mobile phone using the OTG cable and the card reader. Post the transfer, you will have an empty SD card once again, ready to store more photographs.
