A couple of days ago during a DSLR discussion with a friend, he mentioned the Sony A6300. As it happened, I had read about this camera a few days before the discussion with me friend. That article compared the features of the A6300 with its predecessor, namely the A6000. Hence I went and looked at the specifications of the A6300.
The Sony A6300, like its predecessor, the A6000 is a mirror less camera, with an APS-C (same size as that of Nikon D3200, D5200, etc)!!!
The reviews of the A6300 are good, but the camera is a bit on the expensive side, considering it has been announced just now. As per present pricing, the A6000 is $650 while the A6300 is $1000. Feature-wise, the A6300 has 4K video.
I compared the two cameras on DPReview. The link is http://www.dpreview.com/products/compare/side-by-side?products=sony_a6000&products=sony_a6300
Considering that most mirrorless cameras have the four-thirds or micro four-thirds option for sensor size, the APS-C sensor on the Sony A6000 and A6300 is a pleasant surprise.
