After having collected more than 30,000 images using my digital camera and a few thousand(s) (around 18,000) more from other sources, I definitely need to review my policy of holding on to images.
For digital photography, I have a philosophy – I do NOT delete photographs, irrespective of their quality. Even if the images are blurred or the subject has gone away by the time the photo was taken, I retain the image.
With such a large number, I will definitely have to reconsider this ‘no delete’ clause.
