This thought came about due to increasing reports in the media regarding surveillance by various government organizations. Also from reading many fiction novels and spy thrillers.

Given the amount of tracking that takes place in many countries and the need to be online to access may services, an interesting thought came to my mind.

Earlier, I used to read spy novels, where one got to read about spies who were never photographed. Also about people who did not want to be photographed, had camera films take out and destroyed (sometimes along with the camera – The Godfather), is that situation possible now?

With so many cameras deployed everywhere, what is the chance that someone will be recorded for posterity? Add to that are technologies like Google Glass that are trying to go mainstream and make recording all pervasive?
