Slowly and surely, my smartphone is becoming a phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 (I5801), that was released in mid-2010 and which I bought in Oct 2010 time frame. Initially it came with Android 2.1, which I later upgraded to Android 2.2. Now, with the OS, applications and games growing at a phenomenal rate, my smartphone is slowly losing it’s ‘smartness’.

These days, when I navigate to the Google Play Store, I find that many games are not displayed for my gadget – games like Temple Run, Subway Surfer and many more. In fact, I recently tried out ‘Play Tennis’ and ‘Tank XX Laser’. Both games installed on the phone, but refused to work! ‘Pocket Tanks’ does not even show up for my phone – apparently needs Android 2.3

Hmmmmmm.
