There are reports stating that Apple has copied an iconic clock design from Switzerland Railways in their iOS 6 update. The Apple clock application snapshot does look extremely similar to the Swiss design.
Was this done on purpose or was it an inspiration? If this is an inspiration, how can it be justified from a design perspective, considering Apple is pursuing many design related cases of its own?
