For an Eclipse project, if resources are changed outside the purview of Eclipse, be sure not only to refresh eclipse using F5 on the project, but also to clean the project. If this is not done, eclipse does not refresh its compiled version and u end up with the old copy.

I faced a problem while developing an android app. Try as much as I did, the app installed on the phone simply refused to show the changed icon. It continued to show the old icon. As standard practice, I did F5, but nothing happened. After some attempts, I opened to ‘bin’ directory and checked the icons in it — and found the culprit.
